Alex Milde is the Founder of Scaled Carbon, a company dedicated to pioneering scalable and affordable mCDR approaches. Alex will be speaking on “Innovating Monitoring Techniques for Ocean Alkalinity Enhancement to Enable a Scalable & Affordable mCDR Approach,” where he will present the concept of Coastal Enhanced Weathering (CEW) and its potential for scalable and cost-effective mCDR, summarize the early-stage development of a sediment tracing methodology for measuring the effects of CEW, and discuss the development of a fit-for-purpose sediment tracer, including preliminary lab experiments and future plans for field trials.
